Adults with ADHD
ADHD IN ADULTHOOD- IT'S NOT JUST FOR CHILDREN ANYMORE

Once thought a problem reserved for children, we now know that Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder often continues into adulthood. In adults, as in children, ADHD is a chronic neurological syndrome that can serously affect your ability to learn effectively, apply what you know, to act or react in a socially accepted manner and/or to perform everyday tasks efficiently.
Symptoms of ADHD, especially acting impulsively or failing to act, may be misinterpreted as immaturity, a lack of will power, or as a major character flaw. As an adult, you are expected to "get it together" sooner or later. If, however, you can never do quite "get it right, " you may have undiagnosed/untreated ADHD.
