ADD Resources can now offer clock hours for educators attending support groups.
Washington State requires that you have a minimum of 3 clock hours to submit. We have set our support groups up as sessions with the first group of sessions ending with June support group meetings. Therefore, if for instance you attend a support group for 90 minutes, you will need to attend one more before June to earn the three credits. If you attend all 3 meeting at 90 minutes each, you can earn up to 4.5 clock hours. Beginning in July there will be a full year of support groups in which you need to attend at least two to earn clock hours. There is a minimum charge of $10 that my247ed.com collects. ADD Resources receives no portion of this.
To earn clock hours you need to register at my247.ed.com.
Click on the 'Conference Center' tab. ADD Resources has two listings: Part 1 is April through June classes and Part 2 is July through June 2011 classes. Here is the link:

You will need to enroll in the class AFTER you have attended and then you have the option of saving to add on more classes later or submitting and paying. After you complete all classes you will sign an affidavit that you have attended and then my247ed.com will send you the letter of completion. The support group will have a sign-in sheet for ADD Resources to keep on file.
Some of the locations of meeting are not correct. I will get that figured out with the next day or two. Mercer Island is listed first and then the first 3 of 4 for Seattle are actually Seattle. The fourth one is for Tacoma. No worries, as you can register for the class after you attended.
We are happy to bring this service to our educators and appreciate your patience in working out any bugs!
Thank you!
